Telemetry Support

Buxco's BioSystem XA software supports data collection by telemetry utilizing DSI's OpenART^® technology. By enabling these components, researchers can perform resistance and compliance studies on conscious subjects and can record pulmonary, cardiovascular, and other signals to a single database. This keeps data time-synchronized and easy to evaluate.

Respiratory flow derived parameters may be captured using plethysmographs which can be placed on or near a telemetry receiver. The receiver can be used to collect pulmonary pressure, cardiovascular, and other signals.

For conscious resistance and compliance, flow and pressure signals must be tightly synchronized for analysis together. Compared to other approaches, Buxco's unique synchronization technology can reduce needed telemetry hardware.
