Inhalation Toxicology
Use an inhalation block or tower for controlled exposures to aerosols, dusts, or gases. Exposure systems are highly-customizable with configurations to accommodate a single subject or many subjects simultaneously.
Choose from restrainers for exposure only or plethysmographs for monitoring respiration and dosage.
Our standard tower design features individual nozzles and return flow paths to assure each subject receives identical exposures. Simpler "open" designs are available for less critical applications.

A very versatile system, investigators can select from several available options:
- Positive or negative pressure operation
- Species ranging from mouse to rabbit
- Restrainers for exposure only
- Plethysmographs for respiratory measurements, work with Buxco's FinePointe™ software
- Open restrainers for ambient animal cooling and easy access to the tail
- Closed restrainers for maximum containment
- Liquid aerosol delivery with various rate ranges and particle sizes
- Delivery of suspended dusts
- Dust particle size reduction
- Concentration measurement
- Particle size distribution measurement
- Temperature and humidity measurement
- Oxygen and carbon dioxide monitoring
- Aluminum or acrylic construction
- Flexible base designs
- Optional turntable base
- Designs for lab bench, floor, hood, or glove box installation
